Sunday Strummers Ukulele Ensemble
It all started at a Sunday afternoon jam in July 2015 at the gazebo in Great Barrington MA
where a bunch of ukulele players would come together every Sunday afternoon to strum and sing tunes
from the 30’s to present day. In the colder months we would meet indoors.
We all initially met at the Berkshire Ukulele Band at Berkshire South of which we are all still participating in.
One Sunday afternoon in April 2016 a reporter happened to be walking by
(who eventually wrote an article on us) and asked what our name was
and I said the Sunday Strummers to which I later added in Ukulele Ensemble
when we started performing at various venues.
The core group now is 5 with additional musicians added in as needed.
